I need a solution

Previously we had Altiris Notification Server 7.1 SP2 installed on Physical server and Database Server installed on VM. This environment was running absolutely fine with 13,000 clients and 84 site servers (Task Server and Package Server). We have migrate our NS in VM and then upgrade it to 7.5 HF3. Now my environment is working fine but my Notification Server Console became extremely slow specially when trying to generating any report. Earlier it was taking maximum 10-15 sec to generate software inventory report for 13000 computers but now the same report is taking more than 40 sec to generate. Anyone have any idea or suggestion how we can tune our application as well as database server to perform better.
