Policies-Software-Advanced Options-Results Based Actions Tab

I need a solution

I would imagine this may be a quick answer but I am unable to find a solution. When deploying software I have a need to reboot the computer before the next piece of the policy continues so on the "Policies-Software-Advanced Options-Results Based Actions Tab" I choose Upon Success Restart computer. When this option is chosen and the software is deployed a dialog box is diaplayed on the computer with a count down of 30 minutes that the computer is going to be rebooted and a button to reboot now. All that is ok but what I am looking for is a way to reboot the computer now and once completed the software deployment (Policy) picks up where it left off and continue thru its process.

From what I understand and have experimented with is that best practice is to use the Restart Computer option that is built in and not to do this any other way otherwise the job may have issues picking up where it left off. Is there a way to use the Upon Success Reboot Computer option and not have a countdown at all, it just restarts the computer? I have not been able to find that option, I can defer the reboot but not shorten or even eliminate the 30 minute countdown to a reboot. If it cannot be eliminated or shortened how are others handling a erboot inbetween chained software installs in software deployment policies?

It is highly recommended to allow the Symantec Management Agent to initiate a reboot. This allows the Agent to properly handle all Agent processes so nothing is lost on the reboot. For example the progress of the Managed Software Delivery may be lost if the installer executes the reboot (stored in the file AeXSWDPolicy.xml). In the command-line suppress the reboot and select the Upon success option to initiated the reboot.
