Ok I have used Altiris since 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 in Refinery, stock market and pharmaceutical.
My recent position is BioPharma and on 6.0 R13 when I started in 2011. Back then when you retired a computer it did not release the Patch License so a process was developed to export key information that was needed to be retained. This is mainly software delivery records and computer information records. This was done before I was here and one of the annoying parts was having to delete computers from the console. I had to do it in 10 computer chunks from a report that i have. The report is simple... show all computers retired.
problem was when you try and delete a large amount... it took forever. Didnt know if it was hung up or what...
but now on 7.6 HF7 I decided to go for all. 1084. I knew it was going to take FOREVER!!!! and who knows how to tell if locked up..
anyway.. you made it nice and graphically...
