I need a solution
I have and issue after upgrade from 7.6 to 8.0 HF4. After the upgrade everything looks fine, but the next day the NS and the package server was missing and the Task server on NS was unable to register and bind to port 50124.I'm unable to add them manually and if it succeed the will not show in the Site Management.

I get the following errors in NS log.
Failed to perform re-register
Computer 56b9029c-5dd3-464f-a750-e82d1fb1a456 trying to register as a task server (version: 8.0.3361) on NS 56b9029c-5dd3-464f-a750-e82d1fb1a456 is not registered as a site server on NS. It may be temporary situation until collections update on the NS is performed. Please make sure that this computer is registered on NS as site server. In case of disaster recovery scenario, run 'NS.Restore Task Servers' Windows Schedule.
I have tried all what I could find in the KB's and here. Here are some of the things
- Reinstalled the SMA on the NS
- Reinstalled the Task Server on NS.
- Checked all KB with issues on port 50124
- Rollback to 7.6 and did an upgrade again.
- Checked security on folders and IIS.
