CMS Integrations with Asset Management System

Hello, 

Looking for some thoughts and experience from anyone who has integrated Altiris CMS with an external Software Asset Management platform. We are currently exploring a few vendors for software asset management and no Altiris did not make the short list. Nevertheless I am hoping to find other that might have been in the same position who have integrated CMS into a Software Asset Management system and succes you've had at potentially a two way integration. 1 Sending inventory data into the Asset Management System and maybe 2 having CMS leverage the license inventory or entitlement data from the Asset Management platform.
