Changing Client Credentials, any gotchas?

I am going to be changing the client communication credentials.   Currently we use the app credentials and are going to change it to its own credentials.  

Is there anything I need to be aware of and consider prior to making this change, or is it as simple as it seems just enter them in the console, save, and it works?
