Windows Server Core Support for Management Agents

I didnt see this defined in the product support matrix, so I wanted to throw this out to the community.

Is the SMA and solution agents supported on Windows Server 2012 and 2016 Core? If so, officially or unofficially?

My initial belief is no, but I wanted to see if anything changed.
