CMDB backups stopped happening after RU1 installed

Anyone else notice that their scheduled backups are no longer happening?

Support has kinda shrugged at the issue and told me to contact Microsoft.

I understand Symantec doesn't create SQL, but it is very unfortunate that Symantec doesn't fully support how to do backups of their product's database.  This is a new install that I set up on new servers following Symantec's documentation as closely as possible, so it's not like I'm doing something out of the ordinary.
