SMP 7.0 SP5 Contradicting Requirements Help!

Hello,

Im trying to nail down which version of Altiris Client Managment Suite I can use for my Client.  It is almost like my client sits in a perfect storm of incompatibilty with the product.

The servers are running windows server 2003

The client laptops all run Windows 7 SP1 x64

When looking at the requirments for Altiris 7.0 SP5 almost fits the bill with one exception.

The requirments matrix linked below tells me that the agents wont work win 7 x64 sp1:

However the release notes I dug up for it claim I only need XP or greater.

Can someone shed some light and please help me out?
