Stand-alone Inventory windows 2000

Ok I followed the instructions in the Inventory User Guide and created a stand alone inventory.

I ran this on a server 2008 machine and it is still running so it takes some time.

Also I am not hiding the window for now. So the package works and im good with that.
Issue is that I run this on a Windows 2000 box and I get the popup box but nothing else. Is there a trick to get this to run on a Win2k box?
I am not running any switches (looking into that now)....

We will distribute the .exe via NS6 as we have not upgraded our sites at this time. We are looking at bringing in our sites soon and the NS6 will remain for about 6 months. We need to just inventory them in so we know we have them.
