SMP 7.1 SP2 MP1.1 - Network Adapter Inventory on XP machines

Customer captures a full inventory twice a week. Management Platform 7.1 installation is up to date, SP2 MP1.1. We have an issue with WLAN adapters which should be shown in resource manager under network of each computer. The customers' notebooks have WLAN adapters and the clients with Windows 7 are showing their network interfaces correctly in resource manager, but XP machines do not display WLAN adapters, any other NICs are shown.

Is anyone encountering the same issue? Unfortunately I could not find information about problems with Windows XP and WLAN adapter inventory. Any help would be appreciated, before I have to open a ticket at Symantec directly.
