I do not need a solution (just sharing information)
We've got a new 7.1 Hierarchy setup and I started noticing that the Client Config Requests were not being written to the database. All functionaity was fine but these events were not being held. After looking around the console for 30 minutes, a teammate found an article in the KB
That discusses the CoreSettings.config key, EnableNSEventLog, might be set to false. So I checked out Child SMP's and sure enought it was. The parent was TRUE but the children were FALSE. So my question is why? We use that data point for many things in Altiris 6.x. It is disabled by default simple because if cuts down the event load and that some customers might just never need it?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Thank you
