We run a number of custom inventory jobs in our NS 7.5 environment and have a constant process of replacing our computers through a lease agreement. On a daily basis we delete old resource records from our database as the equipment is replaced.
When a resource record is deleted, the various Custom Inventory tables have their associated records deleted. This is happening as expected on our child servers but not on our parent server. The deletion process leaves the CI record on the parent. This is happening whether the record is deleted via ASDK or by simply doing a "right-click" delete from the NS console.
Note: We are not expecting the delete request to be replicated through the hierarchy. There is an individual delete attempt made on both the child and the parent. (Environment: NS 7.5 Hierarchy, 1 parent and 4 children.)
Any ideas would be appreciated.
