Ok so we have many custom inventories and all is well.
The other day I was asked if we can just add a new column to an already in place custom inventory. Back in NS6 days it was difficult as you had to create your local file and run it to create the actual custom inventory table. Today you go in and build it in the "Manage Custom Data Classes" section. and reference that in your vbs. That works as well.
I just went in and added a 30th row. Brought up SQL Management Studio and select * from MyTable
and it is there. Looks good!!!!!
but I cant get my custom inventory to populate that field. The vbs creates the .ok file with the information so that is good... logs on server are all kinds of errors...
so can this be done or not? If so I just want to see what else is needed to be done to allow this. If not I have to create a custom inventory/data class for 1 key!!!!
short blerp from it..
