We work on IT area and we have a litlle problem with Altiris Agent Software. We would like to know if there's a command with options through "PCEXEC" to send the Basic Inventory Packet to the Notification Server remotely.
For example: We have achieved to uninstall and reinstall the software with a remote connection through "Command Prompt" with "PCEXEC" command line. And we would like a command that can send the Basic Inventory Packet to the Notification Server remotely.
This is one of the internal commands that executes on each computer to send the Basic Inventory Packet to the Notification Server:
AeXMachInv.exe /ini AddRemove.ini /inc
AeXCustInv.exe /in BAT_BLEND7_v1.XML /out BAT_BLEND7_v1.nsi
AeXCustInv.exe /in BAT_CDA_Server_v1.XML /out BAT_CDA_Server_v1.nsi
AeXCustInv.exe /in BAT_CDA_Server_v2.xml /out BAT_CDA_Server_v2.nsi
AeXCustInv.exe /in BAT_BLEND7_v2.xml /out BAT_BLEND7_v2.nsi
aexnsinvcollector.exe /hidden /nsctransport /v default /useguid
On the Attach picture, we underline the button that executes this command that sends the Inventory Packet. But we would like to know if there's a way to execute all this with PCEXEC command line.
We are having problems with the software and this would save us a lot of trouble and kept us from go on-site (there more than 700 users) for each user that has the problem that the Altiris is failing or is not reporting correctly.
